Ste Genevieve, it may be said has some of the
most significant French-Colonial constructions within North
America. It is part of the Missouri River Heritage Region. The

Bolduc House in Ste Genevieve is located at 123 South Main. The
historic site was built in the late eighteenth century (and brought
to its present location in 1784). The Bolduc House is comprised of
a trussed roof, sill and foundation made of stone. There is a
garden area dating back to the 1700s, a gallery and stockade-style
fence. The interesting historical site is named after Louis Bolduc
who during his time was a prosperous merchant as well as farmer and
miner. The style of the historic structural gem is that of a
French-Colonial manor house.
La Maison Guibourd-Valle is formally located at: 1 North 4th Street
in Ste Genevieve, Missouri. The house was constructed around 1784
by a French settler. Once inside you will discover beautiful 1700
to 1800 period French-style furniture. The house is considered a
manor or country house.
